Genuine Alternative In Therapy

G.A.I.T. is a therapeutic horseback riding center
that aims to improve the quality of life of disabled
children and adults in our community resulting
in a more independent life in society.

Founded in 1996 and located in Milford, PA, G.A.I.T. is a North American
Riding for the Handicapped Association accredited riding center with
classes conducted by NARHA certified instructors. Therapeutic riding
provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to gain horseback
riding skills while certified riding instructors and licensed physical,
occupational, and speech therapists work with riders to achieve
specific therapeutic goals. Therapeutic riding is recognized by
the American Occupational Therapy Association and the
American Physical Therapy Association. The benefits of
therapeutic riding are available to individuals
with just about any disability.
